The Australasian Association of Forensic Disability was established in 2022 to address the critical need for better systemic support and clinical services for people with disabilities involved with the criminal justice system.
Our multidisciplinary board includes professionals from across Australia, bringing diverse expertise and perspectives from the sector.
Together, we are committed to driving systemic change through advocacy, collaboration, and innovation.

The Australasian Association of Forensic Disability exists to:
Enhance support and clinical services for people with disabilities in the criminal justice system by sharing resources, information, tools, and research
Advocate for human rights in the treatment of people with disabilities who are involved with or at risk of involvement with the justice system
Identify gaps in services and facilitate collaboration and advocacy to improve them
Promote innovation and excellence in forensic disability services
